The New Visitors' Center
The need
As years went by, we have acknowledged the important and immediate need to create an innovative ‘state of the art’ visitors’ center with innovative media and unique content, the world has not yet seen.
Our new Hidden Light visitors’ center, will demonstrate the relevancy and accuracy of Jewish Spirituality in the 21st Century, in the way it corresponds with the latest theories of modern science and the most advance technologies.
Many are fascinated by the global recognition and admiration the State of Israel received as being a ‘start-up nation’ and ‘innovation nation’, thanks to the pioneer innovative technological developments of Israeli High-Tech companies and agricultural companies, that benefit the lives of hundreds of millions of people the world over.
At the same time, however, people think of Jewish Spirituality and spiritual experiences, as something belonging to the past, to Biblical Times, to the Synagogues, to 16th Century, or to some areas in the Far East…
The new Hidden Light visitors’ center, using the most advance visitors center’s technologies, such as AR & VR, 3D movies, hologram, video mapping and touch screens, will expose and demonstrate the fascinating correspondence between spiritual Judaism, modern science and innovative technology, in an unprecedented way.
From the regional development perspective the new visitors’ center will contribute significantly to the development of tourism to Tzfat in the next decade, attracting hundreds of thousands of people to the innovative attraction.
The video mapping night experience will be a main tourist attraction for night programs in Tzfat, and will encourage many to spend the night in the city and enjoy its charm as sun goes down.
The vision
Building the ‘Hidden Light’ Center
The first visitors’ center in the world to connect
Jewish Spirituality and advance technology.
In 2018, thanks to a generous donation of our esteemed supporters
Anthony and Vanessa Beyer of Palm Beach, we’ve completed building, developing and renovating a new space in the building where the Tzfat Kabbalah Center is located.
In 2019, hundreds of tour groups have participated in programs at the new space alongside programs held in our other space.
In 2020, we plan to launch the innovative media experiences at the new ‘Hidden Light’ visitors’ center.
The visitors’ experience will include:
The ‘Touch Screens’ experience –
Innovative HD HR touch screens for self-operation by visitors, will project short movies about the fascinating links between Jewish Spirituality and innovative technology. Each movie will deal with a specific topic, such as: Artificial intelligence, super foods, cosmology, Neuro-science, Quantum mechanics and more.
Augmented Reality experience
A twelve minute movie that will be projected on ‘Smart Glass’ and will present the Jewish approach to concepts of Soul and matter, Biblical Codes and future of humanity, bio-ethics and genetics, and more. The visual experience will be of the most advance existing in the world of media for visitors’ centers, in the world.
Hologram experience – ‘The Creation’ –
An innovative hologram experience will tell the story of the Creation of the Universe, combining the Biblical story and modern scientific theories about sub-atomic elements, String Theory, the Big Bang theory and the creation of time.
Video Mapping experience – (second phase of development)
A special projection on the outer veranda and exterior walls of the new visitors’ center.
A movie that will tell the story of the fascinating history of Jewish Galilee, from Biblical times until the modern era. It will be a one of a kind outdoors night experience that will be projected for eight months a year.
The Hidden Light new visitors’ center will attract tens of thousands of new visitors to Tzfat every year, and will serve as a one of a kind tourist and educational beacon of light.
A detailed plan made by a professional media company, indicates that creating and installing the media experiences would take 6-8 months.
We therefore plan to raise the funds for building the new visitors’ center starting by the last quarter of 2019, and hopefully start operating the new visitors’ center in the last quarter of 2020.
The Zohar
In the Book of the ‘Zohar’ , Classical text of Kabbalah of Second Century, it is written that
“In the six hundredth year of the sixth millennium, gates of the upper wisdom will open as
well as the springs of the lower wisdom, and the world will be prepared to enter the seventh
millennium” –(Zohar, Part I, page 117).
The corresponding years are in the first half of the 19 th Century – and what exactly happened?
The gates of the ‘Upper Wisdom’ opened - the spiritual wisdom of the Kabbalah became
available like never before, and the world witnessed the revelation and spread of the wisdom of
Kabbalah, with the “downloading” of the new paradigm of Kabbalah, which included deep
understanding of the human soul and the study of the spiritual worlds and parallel dimensions
of reality, in a methodological and scientific manner.
Simultaneously, discoveries in the realm of the ‘Lower Wisdom’ were revealed in the world - the
wisdom of the natural sciences and the powers of nature, including:
The invention of the telegraph, discovery of electromagnetism, discovery of the foundations of
electro-chemistry, the law of preservation of energy, invention of the radio, bacteria and
vaccinations (Pasteur), the system of chemical elements (Mendeleev), and many more scientific
innovations. The innovations led to the second industrial revolution – the technological
revolution, which, among other things, included industries of electricity, automobiles and
aircraft.
Later, the third industrial revolution arrived, which mainly included electronics, information
technology, and automation of manufacturing, while at the same time, revelation of the upper
wisdom and its dissemination advanced very fast. New depths of the wisdom of the Kabbalah
were revealed, translated, and became common the world over.
Today, in the midst of the digital revolution, and looking to the future – the sciences and
technologies are advancing at record speed, while integrating technologies from the physical,
digital and biological world.
Already today, artificial intelligence is found everywhere, as the power of computerization
increases and the availability of huge quantities of information push it forward. Technologies of
digital production connect with the biological world; Engineers and architects combine
computerized planning and synthetic biology for a symbiosis between microorganisms, the
human body, consumer products and even residential environment.
The purpose of all these processes, is, in the terminology of the Zohar: “to prepare for the
seventh millennium” – to prepare for the future.
That same future is described in the Zohar in relation to the human consciousness:
“So that they may know Him” -so that all the G-dly and hidden powers of Creation be revealed
to Humans (Zohar, Part II, page 42).
The combination of the developments in the Biological and the Spiritual wisdoms – the upper
wisdom, technology and life sciences, occurs simultaneously with the development of human
consciousness.
Here, pioneering studies in the spheres of Brain Research and Neuroscience, take on special
importance.
Studies show that the human brain utilizes only a small percentage of its abilities – what will
happen when we know more?
Today, the wisdom of Kabbalah also reveals spiritual practices, like meditation, prayer,
contemplation and ‘Unifications’, for advancing and improving the human spiritual
consciousness.
Practices that in the past were considered the legacy of only the peoples of the East, as is
written in the Zohar (Part I, page 133), regarding the spiritual practices the Patriarch Abraham
gave to Oriental Civilization, are now being used by people, students of the wisdom of Kabbalah
and the inner dimension of Torah, all over the world.
The experience of the augmented reality and the innovative movie at the ‘Hidden Light’ Center,
will reveal the amazing connection between scientific-digital technological developments,
cosmology and futurism, with the wisdom of Kabbalah, and the spiritual practices that are
becoming the legacy of the entire human race. This will be a very special and totally unique
experience of content and media, a multi-sensory and spiritually moving experience.
